DONNING OF RANKS AND OATH TAKING CEREMONY OF NEWLY PROMOTED ADVANCE OFFICERS

As the euphoric sense of graduation swathes the officers' heart, a yet another momentous event, a defining moment awaits them. The succession, which symbolized the dusk and dawn of the leadership, was simply a necessary step in bringing the customary ceremony to a close. 

Donning of Ranks ratifies the cadet officers' well-deserved efforts and successes through promotion, reminding them of their newfound responsibilities. It is the pivotal moment of transition of the 3CL cadet officers to 2CL cadet officers. And from 2CL cadet officers to 1CL cadet officers who will lead the organization to new heights. 

On the stark night of June 15, 2024, the Department of Military Science and Tactics at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges in General Santos City commenced their Donning of Ranks for the Advance ROTC CL-2024 and the Promotion Order of 736th DMST RMMC at Kay Zoe's Farm Resort, Brgy. San Isidro, General Santos City. Signaling the start of a long night, former wing commander, SGT MARIEL M CIPRIANO PAFR, opened and welcomed the guest of honors, instructors, and cadet officers. 

This was followed by the declaration of C/CPT Glaiza Muñasque 2CL's promotion as the 736th DMST RMMC's new Wing Commander. COL MARK ALLAN GAVILAN PAF, Commanding Officer 7TH ARCEN GENERAL SANTOS CITY, together with MAJ JILLBOUY N DAHILAN PAF, Commandant 736TH DMST RMMC, donned the new ranks of the cadet officers, signifying greater responsibilities and duties. Clad in their General Office Attire (GOA) and their new insignia, symbol of their new ranks, the cadet officers of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges stood proud and tall with honor and pride as they were applauded and congratulated by their esteemed senior officers and alumni.
