The Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom), through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff (ACUCS) for Joint Trainings, U8 and ACUCS for Reservists and Retirees Affairs, U9, facilitated this year's Joint Ready Reserve Force Planning with Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX) Training at Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City from September 23 - 27.
The activity was participated by the reservists from the 6th AFP Reserve Command Field Logistics Office - Eastern Mindanao (AFLO - EM), 10th, 11th, and 15th Regional Community Defense Group (RCDG), 7th and 8th Air Reserve Center (ARCEN), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Joint Special Operations Force -1 (JSOF - 1).
This year's MOBEX includes various trainings such as Gender and Development (GAD) Perspective/Awareness, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3), Marksmanship Familiarization, Mission Planning on Maritime Operations, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Familiarization, Close-Quarters Battle (CQB) and Maritime Interdiction with Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS). These activities are designed to enhance the readiness and capabilities of the Reserve Force, ensuring their seamless integration with the Regular Force.
Col. Ruben Matillano PA, the Command Inspector General (CIG), represented EastMinCom Commander LtGen. Luis Rex D. Bergante PA at the Closing Ceremony, emphasizing the critical role of smoothly integrating the Reserve Force when called to active duty.
"We are strengthening the interoperability between our Regular and Reserve Forces and ensuring that our personnel are prepared to face any contingency with efficiency and dedication. By focusing on ground-level responses to critical situations, we reinforce the vital role that our reserve units play in the overall mission of safeguarding our nation's sovereignty," he said.
The Joint Ready Reserve Force Planning with MOBEX is a 5-days exercise aiming to enhance the preparedness of the reserve force by sharpening its ability to meet current operational demands and technological advancements.
