| RESERVE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS (ROTC) |
Held from July 22–27, 2024, this annual initiative by the Department of Education in the Philippines plays a crucial role in preparing schools for the academic year by mobilizing communities to clean, repair, and prepare public schools. The Davao Central College NSTP PAF-ROTC officers proudly participated in the closing ceremony under the supervision of the DCC-NSTP Coordinator, Sgt. Precy Piñones.
We were warmly welcomed by their OIC, Ma'am Flordeliz Gloria, and the Master of Ceremony, Sir Ronnel Romero, together with their faculty. They included us in their closing ceremony program at Sirawan National High School and Sirawan Beach Elementary School on July 27, 2024, headed by their school principals, Sir Roderick Gambong (Sirawan National High School Principal) and Sir Randy W. Fernandez, Ed.D., P-III (Sirawan Beach Elementary School Principal).
The Davao Central College NSTP-PAF ROTC contributed essential resources such as broomsticks, dustpans, and gasoline and initiated a trash bin project. These contributions were our way of expressing gratitude and appreciation for the schools' support, allowing us to use their facilities for our ROTC training and events, including POSE, the Graduation and Exchange of Command Ceremony, and the Limited Tactical Inspection. This collaboration resulted in our success, being hailed as the back-to-BACK champion of this year's limited tactical inspection.
The DCC NSTP PAF-ROTC extends heartfelt gratitude to Sirawan National High School and Sirawan Beach Elementary School for their warm hospitality and support, reflecting the true essence of community and cooperation embodied by Brigada Eskwela.
