On August 17th, the very First ROTC Formation took place at RMMC Apopong in General Santos City. Lots of new cadets from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, part of the  Department Military Science and Tactics, were there for this important event. Their commitment to the training program was evident in their diligent efforts, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.  While still learning the ropes, they diligently practiced basic skills and drills, striving for precision in their movements and promptness in responding to commands. Despite being new to the program, they exhibited a clear understanding of the importance of their training, setting a strong foundation for their future development as cadets.

The inauguration was a testament to the dedication of the leaders who made it possible. Under the expert guidance of ELLAINE ROSE L JIMENEA, LPT, the RMMC-NSTP Coordinator, TSg LEO STEPHEN D SANTOS PAF, TSg JUNVIE L BUGAS PAF, the Military Training Instructor of RMMC-ROTC, TSg IPAFRUDITO PIMENTEL PAF (RET), with the support and prowess of MAJ JILLBOUY N DAHILAN PAF, the Commanding Officer of 736TH DMST RMMC, and the Advanced ROTC Officers; these young cadets took their first steps into the world of military discipline.  

More than just mastering drills and sequences, the training emphasized the importance of discipline and decorum, preparing them for the challenges and responsibilities that lie ahead.  As they absorbed these valuable lessons, a sense of purpose began to take hold.  They saw themselves as future law enforcers, ready to serve and protect their communities with unwavering commitment.
