The Philippine Air Force cadets of LPU-Davao, conducted their first familiarization of the M16 Firing Activity last November 20, 2022, at Brgy. Mintal, Tugbok, Davao City.
The familiarization Firing of M16 allowed both aspirants for officer and basic ROTC to retain worthwhile knowledge concerning the proper position and to test their ability in marksmanship training.
Prior to the activity, the cadets were lectured regarding the characteristics of the M16 rifle, proper handling of military weapon, and correct M16 firing positions comprised of prone, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and standing position.
Above all, the Philippine Air Force cadets of LPU-Davao practiced utmost security, which catalyzed a successful turnout of the firing practice with the aim towards excellence in instilling military discipline with the help of LPU - Davao NSTP Coordinator, CAPT Jamboy Biton, the 7th Air Reserve Center headed by LTC PERCIVAL C MACARANAS JR PAF (GSC), and the training staff to lead with greatness.
