MGEN JOEL ALEJANDRO S NACNAC PA was received with full military honors during his visit to the Eastern Mindanao Command Headquarters, Panacan, Davao. He was warmly received by the Command Staff of EASTMINCOM and shared a meaningful discussion and exchange on the Reserve Force Development Strategies and Updates of the initiatives being undertaken by the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs. After the reception by the EASTMINCOM Staff, MGEN NACNAC graced the Joint Opening Ceremony of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care 2024-2 and Leadership Development for NCOs and Officers under the State Partnership Program Training Activities for 2024 together with the Guam National Guard.
In his remarks, MGEN NACNAC highlighted the State Partnership Program as a remarkable 24-year partnership between the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Guam National Guard, and the Hawaii National Guard. This program embodies the commitment to developing enduring relationships, fostering a bond in addressing mutual concerns and advancing security cooperation between parties.He recognized that through our shared commitment, the Armed Forces of the Philippines can fully focus on strengthening its preparedness to mobilize and utilize a Mission-Capable Ready Reserve Force. He emphasized that the forged was partnership built on Mutual Respect, shared values, similar culture,and a common goal of enhancing the capabilities of our military personnel.
Additionally, MGEN NACNAC extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Guam National Guard, Eastern Mindanao Command, and other concerned Units and Offices for making these SPP Training Activities a reality, where our reservists, reserve units, and administrators engage in meaningful collaboration, learning and combine efforts toward strengthening the AFP military personnel. He also announced the nearing completion of the programmed SPP Activities for 2024, accomplishing 14 out of 18, or 77.77% completed with the conduct of the 2 training in EASTMINCOM. He congratulated everyone in advance as the near 100% completion of the SPP Training Activities for 2024 approaches. Additionally, he added that SPP Training Activities are focusing on unit training as OJ9 deemed it necessary to equip, train, and capacitate our Ready Reserve Units, not only individual Reservists. He insightfully encouraged everyone to look forward to accomplishing a 100% completion for this year, and more training activities for 2025.
The five-day training activities will run from 03 to 07 July 2024 with included field training activities for both courses.
