“Teaching is more than imparting knowledge; it is inspiring change. Learning is more than absorbing facts; it is acquiring understanding.” –William Arthur Ward

Just like the wise words of Albert Einstein ‘Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think’. Teaching is not merely for the sake of instruction; rather, it serves to transform the mindset of students, enabling them to learn. Learning is the foundation of success; when applied positively, it transforms into something truly remarkable.

On the 30th of August 2024, the 736th Department of Military Science and Tactics Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Reserve Officers Training Corps under the Philippine Air Force conducted a quartering or demonstration with the guidance of the RMMC-ROTC Military Training Instructor, TSg JUNVIE L BUGAS PAF. As reflected in the photos, the designated Advanced ROTC Officers were responsible for delivering the lecture. They provided the Aspirants, or Aspiring Advanced Officers, with a comprehensive introduction to the History of the Philippine Air Force, presented the principles of Military Courtesy and Discipline, and effectively demonstrated the intricacies of Military Drills and Ceremonies.

Teaching out of mere obligation is not what is done to learners, it is about helping each learner to identify and develop the skills they need to support and enhance their own learning so that fulfilment and purpose can be realised. The RMMC Advanced ROTC is committed to nurturing efficiency by setting standards in bringing the best from the students, following the virtue of true knowledge and wisdom. Indeed, learning and leadership can't be separated. Learning and leadership are inseparable partners in the journey to success; where learning fuels growth, leadership guides the way, ensuring that each step forward is both purposeful and transformative.
