“Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.”–John F. Kennedy
On the 30th of August 2024, the 736th Department of Military Science and Tactics Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Reserve Officers Training Corps under the Philippine Air Force, conducted the Weekly Flag Retreat Ceremony. This solemn event with the College of Criminal Justice's Department Student Council (CCJ-DSC), was a powerful demonstration of patriotism fostering honor for the nation and paying their respects to the Philippine Flag. Performing this ceremony reflects a deep commitment to upholding the values and traditions that symbolize the country’s pride and heritage. Exhibiting appropriateness in rendering a salute and exuding confidence through their composed demeanor, the RMMC Advanced ROTC wants to integrate the importance of Flag Retreat. Executing the Flag Retreat serves a twofold purpose: it signifies the conclusion of the official duty day and acts as a ceremonial tribute to the flag. This tradition embodies a profound expression of love and respect for one's country. By continuously conducting this ceremony, it reminds us of how hard we fought in achieving independence and the eagerness to unfurl our country's flag. Indeed, being part of RMMC Advanced ROTC is not just focused on producing future leaders and enforcers of the law, but a service member who sees the importance of our country's trepidations and historical context. #RMMCROTC #PAFROTC #LIPADPAF #ChooseRMMC #HomeOfTheBest |
